Produced by the North Main Neighborhood Association, Taste of Sheridan is intended to showcase Sheridan area restaurants/caterers and raise community awareness about the North Main Master Plan, a coordinated concept for development and revitalization in the North Main area. Net proceeds from Taste of Sheridan will go toward projects to help Sheridan implement its vision for the North Main Area:
- - Vibrant Neighborhoods and Business Areas
- - Welcoming and Connected Green Space
- - A Unique and Identifiable Image
- - An Enhanced Transportation Network
- - A Strong Retail/Mixed-Use Core
Taste of Sheridan attendees purchase books of ten “Taste” tickets, each of which may be exchanged for one “Taste-sized” portion at any participating restaurant/catering booth. More expensive items (seafood, steak or similar) may require two tickets for exchange. Complementary nonalcoholic beverages are made available, or adult patrons may visit the beer garden located on site. The event features live music, games for the kids, and culinary presentations, as well.
