Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to help with the 2010 Taste of Sheridan! We currently need volunteers to serve in the following roles:

Friday, August 13:

  • •  Pick up tents, tables, chairs, paper products, event signs (will need a pickup truck or trailer) – approximately 3 hours

Saturday, August 14:

  • •  Pick up tents, tables, chairs, paper products, event signs (will need a pickup truck or trailer) – approximately 3 hours
  • •  Setup at Thorne-Rider Park – approximately 3 hours

Sunday, August 15 (day of event):

  • •  Setup at Thorne-Rider Park – approximately 4 hours
  • •  Ticket sales – 2-hour shifts, 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
  • •  Beer sales – 2-hour shifts, 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. (must be 21 or over)
  • •  Paper products replenishment - 2-hour shifts, 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
  • •  Recycling center staffing - 2-hour shifts, 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.

You’ll get a t-shirt, great food during setup, a ticket to the event to use or give away, our appreciation, and that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from helping out with a great community cause!
